Narrative
Billions of years ago, there was a massive space war between the evil Nebulabots & the vortexors. The vortexors were wiped out but the power crystal they had built to destroy the nebulabots was broken into pieces and hidden among the other planets in the solar system by the vortexors, with the most powerful part hidden on earth, in the hope that one day the pieces would be re-united & destroy the nebulabots for good! Just before all of the pieces were hidden, one of the vortexors, named Zob, managed to store information about the nebulabots & how to defeat the nebulabots, within the fragments.
After years & years, the crystal fragment on earth was hit by a meteor, causing it to spark a life form, billions of years pass, the crystal gets buried, & the life form evolves & dies out many times, peaking with a species who originally called themselves 'humms', but when they became intelligent enough to write, a spelling error was made and they became known as humans.
Present day: the fragment is excavated by the humans & they could not figure out what it was or where it had come from, however an astronaut & scientist, named Rob, picked up the fragment with his bare hands & it began to glow.
The evil Nebulabots detected the fragment glowing on earth, and began preparing for an attack to destroy it,
The fragment, produced a hologram of the vortexor Zob, who explained the story of the war, & that the evil Nebulabots would be coming to destroy it & re-uniting the fragments is the only way to stop them, also stating that now the cube had been re-activated, only Rob would be able to touch the other fragments of the cube & put them back together.
So Rob goes off on an epic voyage to the other planets in the solar system, solving puzzles on each planet to retrieve the fragments of the cube, and bring them back to Earth.
Once he has collected all of the pieces, they are reassembled, the crystal powers up & locks onto the vortexors & destroys them just in time save the world!

I have come up with the story, mainly using influences from films, but also from numerous online games which I have played over the years.
The two films in particular which helped me to come up with the idea were; 'Indiana Jones & The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull' & 'Transformers'. The story I have come up with is a combination of ideas from the two films, Indiana Jones has ancient aliens who were 'sleeping' on the earth, until being awaken, & Transformers involved a historic battle between aliens. From playing games online, they usually involve some sort of battle or puzzle on one particular planet, usually also set in the future, I thought it would be good if the user could visit more than one planet while playing a game, and my story gives a reason for the user to have to do this.
